Once you entered through the gate you discover the freshness of the plane trees leading from the entry to the majestic and romantic park which is left as natural as possible but looked after by forestry experts and nurtured guided by the original plans of 1892 which were recently found. In the old Mas are located the reception, the restaurant and meeting rooms. The Chateau in its sober and elegant style of the Napoleon III period reflects simplicity with a note of luxury and attention to the smallest details of comfort. A part from cultural events (Concerts, Jazz lunch, exhibitions, and packages including the Opera Festival in Orange), much attention is paid to natural and organic ingredients in the meals from breakfast buffet in the Chateau until exquisite dinner in the restaurant. |

Ecology is highly respected by Anne and Rudy Baur and their 2 children. Not only do they respect nature and the traditional settings at Montcaud, but they are pacesetters in ecological behavior in their region. They were first to have installed solar heating for the entire needs of hot water, they watch over the use of as many organic agricultural products (wines, fruits and vegetables – they are conscious that preserving Nature is today the real luxury of the future. |
